Jio2gether Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how the Jio2gether app ("we", "the app") handles your information. By using Jio2gether you agree to this policy.

Information we collect

• Profile you create: your display name/nickname and, if you add one, a profile photo.
• People you invite: the names — and any phone numbers or email addresses you choose to enter — of contacts you invite to your events. You enter these manually; the app does not read your device's address book.
• Event details: events you create or join (title, date, location, cost, attendee list, RSVP responses).
• Apple account identifier: an anonymous iCloud user identifier provided by Apple, used to link your data to your account across your devices.
• Web RSVP: if someone responds to an invitation through a shared web link, the name they type and their going/declined choice are stored with that event.

How your data is stored

Your data is stored in Apple iCloud (CloudKit), in your private database and — for invitations and RSVPs that need to be shared — a public database record keyed to a random invitation token. We do not run our own user database, and we do not sell your data to anyone.

Advertising

The free version of Jio2gether shows ads through Google AdMob. We request non-personalized ads, so ads are not targeted using your personal profile. AdMob may still process limited technical data (such as IP address and device/ad identifiers) to serve ads, cap frequency, and prevent fraud. See Google's policy: policies.google.com/privacy. Purchasing Premium removes ads.

Purchases

Premium is a one-time purchase processed by Apple's App Store. Payment is handled entirely by Apple; we never see or store your payment details.

Notifications & Calendar

With your permission, we send push notifications about your invitations and events (via Apple's push service and iCloud), and — only if you tap "Add to Calendar" — add an event to your calendar. We do not read your existing calendar entries.

Data retention & deletion

You can delete an event at any time, which removes its associated invitation and RSVP records. To request deletion of your account data, contact us at the address below and we will remove your records from CloudKit.

Children

Jio2gether is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect data from them.

Changes

We may update this policy; material changes will be reflected on this page with a new "last updated" date.
